As ever, I will be keeping a close and beady
eye on the market movers and shakers through Coral Eurobet, Bet365, Bet
Direct, Ladbrokes, & Paddy Power. All the bookies have now shown their
spurs, so see below for my initial findings. Win a bot of loose change
with Nick...you can't fail. 2006 has been a very boring market. Only one country has made a big move, and it's a move that I can well understand. In late April you could get upwards of 40-1 on Finland. Now it's 14-1 at best and you best be quick to get this. Can you imagine Finalnd finally having success at Eurosong? England haven't been waiting that long for more World Cup success. The other way, Croatia have surprisingly been heading out a bit, Estonia
& Ukraine can be had each way at 66-1. Moldova at 200-1? You're having
a laugh...more like 10,000-1. Ms Vissi remains doggedly strong at around
2/1 (with the emphasis on the...strong), but word on the street is that
no-one is 2/1 confident enough to presume that Anna will win. My tip is
to think about the performance with a little extra...a stiletto slide,
a drumming monster, a windblown big blue gown, a woman popping out of
a piano, but not a robot with a barber shop quartet, that's pushing it
a bit too far. |
