On this page you can see my predictions for the second semi-final. This show was aired on Thursday the 12th and at least half of it will be of greater quality than the Tuesday effort. Bucking the common opinion I have the old timer Dino Merlin for Bosnia sneaking top spot, but Estonia and Sweden will be there or thereabouts. Even more controversially I had Ding Dong Dana Intl into 4th which not only seemed a bonkers result at the time, but was alos proven to be after the show. Amongst the luminaries I originally had missing out, both the subime (in the lithe shape of Slovenia) and the ridiculous (the irish shouty twins Jedward) both got through. In the end I got 7 here, again hardly a stunning result. I think I'll wait until a couple of days before the event next year.

Then there's every chance you'll come across the second Semi Final of the 2011 contest on Thursday the 12th of May. Compasred to tweo days previous this is like Live Aid but without the need to give to charity, and with added proper vocals....and no Geldof.
