The weekend starts here! On this page you can see my predictions for the second semi-final. This show will be aired on Thursday the 24th which is also the due date for my firstborn. It takes something extra special to divert my full attention from a Dutch lady in a Native American head-dress.

This is the semi final where the UK votes, so I expect your full undivided attention on BBC3 that evening. The hot favourite for the whole thing will be throwing her arms about during this semi, and is likely to come out on top. The dependable and ever-so-dull Zeljko should do well as will the perennial stick-on finalists the Turks. Of the surpises below, Lithuania don't quite make it through, but the Netherlands do. That fact alone calls into question the whole list.

I've also had a pop at the other semi final here and the final already, so confident am I at the predictions below (also I'm not going to be able to update them following the semi-final as I'll likely be either in a maternity ward or worrying about being in a maternity ward).

1. Sweden 2. Serbia 3. Turkey
4. Ukraine 5. Norway 6. Netherlands
7. FYROM 8. Estonia 9. Bosnia & Herz
10. Slovenia 11. Lithuania 12. Croatia
13.Bulgaria 14. Belarus 15. Malta
16. Slovakia 17. Georgia 18. Portugal
