This show was aired on Thursday the 27th and was a far stronger affair with arguably most of the nations still with a small chance of landing an each way bet come the final. Safura and her leaky plumbing only managed to finish second according to my calculations, but got through. She is beaten to the top spot by Turkey who will of course be guaranteed the diaspora vote the length and breadth of the Eurozone. The biggest shock has to be Sweden who were knocked out on the final "magic" envelope by a call girl and a Rhoobarb and Custard extra. I've got a real downer on that result. But to boost my mood, the leather clad Liberace and his sex siren compadre from Bucharest made it into the Final along with my hard earned wonga. And the Welsh pub act representing Cyprus did indeed nick the final qualifying spots along with the always solid Georgians. Time to review my final list.
