Andorran broadcaster RTVA has approached Filmax Music record company, which proposed Gisela as a possible Eurovision representative. Gisela will perform song "Casanova". According to her song is "very rhythmic and magic, like Andorra with its snow and forests". The song is created by Jordi Cubino, known as composer of the official anthem of the 2006 Football World Cup and David Bisbal's "Corazon Latino" which finished 2nd in Spanish Eurovision 2002 preselection. Song will be sung mostly in English with a short part in Catalan.
Prior to the contest Gisela is planning a DVT inducing promo-tour covering Spain, France, Portugal, Germany, the Netherlands, Russia and Eastern Europe.

Gisela was born in Barcelona under the sign of Capricorn on the 1st of January. Ever since she was a child she was mad about music and was determined to one day become a famous singer. When she grew up she started to sing in a group and considered the possibility of becoming a professional singer, but she was aware of how difficult it was to succeed in the music world and so decided to enrol at the Universidad Autonómica de Barcelona to study journalism. She left her studies during her second year when she was chosen to participate in Operación Triunfo, the Spanish version Fame Academy. She has gained popularity after taking part in the first edition of talents show Operacion Triunfo. Gisela finished 8th in the show and accompanied winner Rosa at ESC 2002 in Tallinn as backing vocalist.

As prize she got a contract with Disney Spain and has started a career in musical theater. She has interpreted the original B.S.O. for Spain of the Disney movies: Peter Pan (2002), Beauty and the Beast (2003) Enchanted (2007), and others films.

After the show she released her debut album "Parte De Mi", which sold in 200,000 copies during 2003, she succeeded at Vina del Mar International Song Festival contest (interestingly in the 1996 contest saw the first victory of Swiss entrant in ESC 2008 Paulo Meneguzzi).
Her second album "Mas Alla" was released in 2003, her third album "Ni te lo imgaginas" came out in 2006. In 2007 Gisela is selected as special guest performer in Spanish Eurovision preselection show "Mision Eurovision".

Furthermore, Gisela also sings the main theme of the Brazilian soap opera Kubanacan, a version of the bolero No Me Plactiques Más. She has also sung a version of Football Club Barcelona’s anthem which was chosen as the best of the 2003-2004 season by the public. She has also done the Fantasia concerts, where she sings Disney songs accompanied by an orchestra of more than 30 musicians. In Christmas of 2007, Disney offered her the possibility to participate in the dubbing and the soundtrack of the film Enchanted. More than five tours and 300 concerts over the last few years guarantee that Gisela will continue on a career path marked with magic, hard work, discipline and perseverance.
