Performer, composer and lyricist Isis started singing
and performing at the age of five. She began taking private voice lessons
and performing classical, pop, R&B, jazz, broadway and country music
as a young girl. This led to her being featured singing with various bands,
choirs and singing groups with which she traveled and performed extensively.
Live theatre was also a huge passion for Isis, and she spent her childhood
years participating in various live musicals. By 12 years old she was
earning money as a professional singer. Later in her adolescence, Isis
won numerous singing competitions including winning an international talent
competition in Los Angeles, California when she was 17 years old. The
same year, she won a beauty pageant (preliminary to the Miss America pageant).
Isis is no stranger to the stage and throughout the years was also singing
in various large arenas for crowds of 65,000 people. At the age of 19,
she was featured on two jazz albums, was opening for legendary Toni Bennett,
began touring throughout Asia as the featured vocalist with a jazz trio,
as well as finding herself performing with McCoy Tyner (John Coltrane,
Stanley Clarke, Bill Evans). After moving to Los Angeles, Isis worked
with famous song writers such as Steve Dorff who has written, arranged
and produced hit songs for artists like Barbara Streisand, Celine Dion,
Whitney Houston and countless others. In 2004 Isis moved from the United
States to live in Poland with her husband.
Isis was always intrigued with Poland, as she grew up knowing that her
father's mother was Polish and that she had Polish roots. Isis feels incredibly
grateful to represent the beautiful country and she says: "This truly
changed her life on every level." In 2007, she recorded her debut
album entitled Hidden Treasure. The music industry was quickly captivated
by her abilities both creatively and technically. She is said to be one
of the very first women in the business to fully compose, arrange, program,
engineer and produce all music herself.
Isis Gee's musical style is classified as Elegant Pop. The music industry
top representatives often describe Isis as a mix of Celine Dion and Lara
Fabian, meeting with an edgy Sade. She aspires to touch people's hearts
and minds through her music, and to truly make a positive difference in
our world and communities. In 2007 Isis was invited to work with the famous
German DJ Schiller (Christopher von Deylen) who has sold over a million
albums. |
