What do I think of this?

He ain't a creative genius so ignore his blurb. Tie loving Intars has written at least two songs, neither is which is merited. Clearly he's annoyed by the traffic system keeping vehicles out of the Riga old twon, and decided to put an angry rock beat to a song about tailbacks. A modern re-imaginig of Road to Hell if you will. Sorry Chris. Intars puts much emotion in lines such as "...to see how the wind below is bending bushes at the side of a packed ring road" and not forgetting the immortal "And I do a jump-hop, shredding my pants". He will be singing it in Russian too, the creep. People camped at the Areeena for the last 3 weeks seem to think this stands a good chance of making it to the final, but I don't .

Latvia will be represented by a well-known artist this year - Intars Busulis who will perform his song not in Latvian or English, as expected but in Russian! Find out more about this creative genius!

Intars Busulis was born on the 2nd of May 1978 and is now a well-known Latvian jazz and pop musician and actor. In 2008, Intars along with composer Karlis Lacis released his first solo album with original songs in Russian and Latvian. He performed songs from the album in concerts across Latvia. For months, one of his songs, Brivdiena topped radio and TV charts. In 2009, he's already received several important Latvian musical awards and is working on a new solo album in English.

This year, Intars and Sweetwaterz won the Latvian national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest with the song Probka (Traffic Jam). In 2006, Intars finished second performing Karlis Lacis' and Sergejs Timofejevs' hit, Gonki.
In 1999, he launched boy band Caffe with Raimonds Tigulis. Four years later, he went solo in order to find a musical style of his own. During the same period, he also played in the National Armed Forces brass band and jazz group Wet Point.

Probka

Probka - vse ustalji vot tak
Ljitsa seri, njervi, toljka b vekhat pjervim
I pavsjudu vstalji jašiki iz stalji
Vdrug ja vjižu više prigajet po krišam, djevuška

Vperedji prigajet - prjamo
S mjersa na voljva
Tru glaza, možet eta miraž
No glazam uže boljna

Ej, vazjmi menja navjerkh s saboj
Ja ustal trubjit sebje atboj
Ja khacu guljet pa bamperam
Ja vjed nje privjincen namertva

Toljka ja nje znaju, kto ti
No khacu idti prosta rjadam s taboj
Vjidjet, kak vnjizu vjeter klonjit kusti
Na abocinje zabjitoj kaljtsevoj

Kak tak - iz akna mnje kulak
"Tak tebja i rastak!"
A ja toljka prig-skok, at štanov majikh klok
Ja astavjil, bog s njim, daljše što jest sil
Dišu casto tse-o-dva - krugom galova

Njeprastaja eta zabava
S mjersa na voljva
I majacit tvoj siluet
Daljeko už, davoljna

Ej, po*sto*j, vo*zjmi menja s saboj
Ja ustal trubjit sebje atboj
Ja khacu guljet pa bamperam
Ja vjed nje privjincen namertva

Traffic Jam

Traffic jam - everyone's tired of this
Gloomy faces, nerves, I have to be the first to get through
And steel boxes appearing everywhere
Suddenly I see a girl above, jumping on the roofs

Jumping straight ahead
From a Mercedes to a Volvo
I rub my eyes, it could be a mirage
But my eyes already hurt

Hey, take me up there with you
I'm tired of giving up
I want to walk on bumpers
In fact, nothing is holding me back

Only, I don't know who you are
But I just want to be near you
To see how the wind below is bending bushes
At the side of a packed ring road

What the hell - a fist out of a window
"Damn you!"
And I do a jump-hop, shredding my pants
I left, let it pass, going on like crazy
Breathing a lot of CO2 - my head is spinning

This is no easy fun
From a Mercedes to a Volvo
And your silhouette looms
Very far away

Hey, take me up there with you
I'm tired of giving up
I want to walk on bumpers
In fact, nothing is holding me back
