Biography
Denmark-born, Susanne Georgi started singing with her sister Pernille.
At the age of 12 the duet, originally known as "SuPer Sisters"
and then "Me & My" got their first record-deal and recorded
2 CD's in Danish.
They also tried to enter the 1991 Eurosong, but unfortunately Susanne
was too young to enter. Me&My achieved an international breakthrough
with their song "Dub I Dub". It turned out to be one of the
90's inescapable hits. Their first English album was sold 1.5 million
albums and 750,000 singles in Japan in only one year.
Follow-up albums, "Let The Love Go On" in 1999 and "Fly
High" in 2001 helped to sell over 3 million albums. In 2007 Me &
My again tried in Dansk Melodi Grand Prix (national selection for Eurovision
Song Contest) with the song "Two Are Stronger Than One", where
finished 6th. That year, Susanne was also Danish spokesperson.
Susanne has been living in Andorra for 13 years ago and she has also learned
Catalan language. "I love life and I love to travel, to be with my
family, my friends and my 3 dogs", says the singer. The song has
a very special place in my heart and I truly believe that it could do
really well in the Eurovision. I like both versions and I think that the
Catalan lyrics fit very nicely in to the song as well. With that said,
I still think that it would need a few more parts in English to open up
the chances to get to the final".
