What do I think of this?

A bit of a Young Frankenstein this one. A horrible mish mash of a tune with unintentional laughs. Gjoko starts off with mild Balkan rock, kicks into James Bond lite, then a rancid dollop of rap, finally heavy geetar, all the while being surrounded by a trio of adult dancers in leather shorts trying to show us what they had for lunch. The rapper is the real low water point on this sinking ship though, a sunglasses wearing teflon jacketed loon, clearly old enough to know better, who's as down with the kids as David Mitchell.

Having watched this rehearsal the lyrics "A day is waking, a new day, a new problem. You're here with me, but again I'm lonely. I'm running from everything, even running from you" seemed particularly apt as the hall emptied.

A terrible effort and even a favourable draw won't help them to proceed to the Final.

Biography

One has released the most sold album in the history of the country, the other is one of their biggest young stars.
The first time Gjoko Taneski appeared on the music scene was in 1996 at one of the biggest and most popular FYR Macedonian festivals, Makfest. Immediately after this public appearance, many people recognised Taneski's talent which resulted with several collaborations with composers and songwriters and his career began to take off. Soon he started receiving awards at many festivals and still does so!
His musical career reached the peak in 2007 when his biggest hit was played on radio stations and television channels for months and Gjoko used this moment for promoting his first album Zbogum Najmila (Farewell Dearest).
Only two years after, Gjoko showed and proved that he does not know the meaning of a break in a musical career by promoting his second album named Nikogas Dosta (Never Enough). His passion is travelling, getting familiar with new traditions, cultures and customs.
The writer of the song, 43-year-old Kristijan Gabroski, is one of the most popular and most productive FYR Macedonian composers, he is also a lyricist, an arranger and a producer.

I have the strength

A new day is waking
But the rain will come to us again
This gravestone by me is you

Don't touch these lips of mine, that isn't you
Leave me to dream, though a dream with you is just a dream

I have the strength to get over you
To not have you, and to not see you
And I spread my wings to fly over you
Through all, through all the heavens

Look, I'm going, to feel the warm wind on my face again
It's good to be free and alone
Free and alone

I have the strength to get over you
To not have you, and to not see you
And I spread my wings to fly over you
Through all, through all the heavens

A day is waking, a new day, a new problem
You're here with me, but again I'm lonely
I'm running from everything, even running from you
Little woman I just need to be by myself
I want to dream, I wanted to dream
But a dream with you is only a dream
And I have the strength to realise that you were never mine, ha

I have the strength to get over you
To not have you, and to not see you
And I spread my wings to fly over you
Through all, through all the heavens

I have the strength to get over you
To not have you, and to not see you
And I spread my wings to fly over you
Through all, through all the heavens
