What do I think of this?

I think it's crud to be honest. Most host broadcasters for better or worse have a good idea what works in Eurovision. They tend to know when not to go too far over the line, and so risk alienating the rather diverse yet conservative viewership. France have happily jogged over that line this year, shrugging their shoulders as they go. "Go Go Go etc" is a Dance hall type of thing which sits as well in the Eurosong as Hera Bjork on a primary schoolchild's stool.

Jessy Matador is an Afro-Caribbean artist of little renown, who seems content to repeat "Go" ad infinitum whilst gyrating on a beach. Indeed the video reminds you of that holiday you never want to experience, with a dollop of ill-suited ladies, and a sprinkling of ageism. Arse shaking, fist pumping crud.
At this rate something's got to give with the Big Four, as this will very likely join the UK and likely Spain in the bottom 3.

Go, ola, ole

Oh, the beautiful gathering that wants to move
Letting themselves go at the rhythm of the year
Go, go, go, you should take advantage of it
It's a nice day and we're going to celebrate it

Darling, get up and move your bottom
Dance closely, tightly for a salty kiss
Take me from the side, do your shake
Ooh la la, it's getting hot, I feel the stuff coming up

Go, go, go ... go, ola, ole ...
Go, go, go ... ola, ole ...
Go, go, go ... go, ola, ole ...
Go, go, go ... it's the sound of the year
