Mariana Popova was born in 06.06 in Sofia. She has been studying music since she was 11, and later she studied also modern and jazz ballet. In the High school Mariana studied in a special music class. She studied three semesters Major Pop and Jazz Singing in New Bulgarian University, Sofia. Since 1996 – 2000 she’s a part of the group Cocomania. Her discography includes the singles and videos “You Didn’t Come”, “I Said”, “We Can Do It Again”, “There Isn’t Anything”, “After” – duet with Dani Milev (Third Prize at the “Burgas and the Sea” Festival ’05 and the Special Prize of Rotary Club – Burgas, Bulgaria) and “Dream About Me” – duet with Dani Milev (First Prize at the “Burgas and the Sea” Festival ’05 – Burgas, Bulgaria). About herself Mariana says that she dreams of never to stop dreaming, that she appreciates the really talented people, that she believes in herself and in reincarnation and that she would like to have a dinner with the singer Marc Anthony.

The famed Roma gay transvestite, Azis, aged 28, is almost sure to perform at the finals of Eurovision 2006 together with Mariana Popova's Let Me Cry. He will who perform back vocals to Mariana.

This starts out like a classic ambient John Carpenter soundtrack, then leaps into a brief Clannad like refrain.
