Nonstop, consisting of Andrea, Katia, Liliana and Rita, were picked out of 1,500 participants to win the first TV musical talent show ‘popstar’, which was broadcast in 2001 by SIC. Their first album went gold, and they immediately released a second one, which is still on sale.
Nonstop see themselves as an international band, able to represent Portugal globally. With an extraordinary vocal range, Nonstop have been fighting for their place in the sun for the past five years, without ever giving up.
Their victory in the Eurovision selection contest was not a big surprise and, since they believe in their vocal abilities, they consider themselves among the favourites at the Eurovision Song Contest. For five years, this group of friends has surprised and delighted Portugal, and is now ready to conquer Europe and, who knows, the world.

Nonstop are a Portuguese manufactured girl band. Groan. Their second album is still on sale, which is a way to put positive spin on a comment that it should really be pulped. I believe they held a note once, but then a gust of wind blew it away..boom boom. I naively thought that the ugly one would be able to sing, but that turned out to be a no-no too. This song is one long tedious musically inept chorus, which goes nowhere but into the sewer. I'm really starting to get annoyed with Portugal. I think I'll boycott sardines.

One of the members of non-stop spoke excitedly about the giant green baby dragon: "Godzooky was the child of the giant monster known as Godzilla. Friendly and inquisitive, he followed his friend Pete around the world on the Calico with his scientist uncle, seeking out stories of other baddy monsters". She burbled on non-stop "Big green Dad rescued the day with regular monotony, being called either by the humans using a signalling device, or by Godzooky himself. Frankly Godzooky was rubbish, but Godzilla was way cool".
