Undoubtedly The First Gillingham FC Fan in Eurovision history

February the 17th saw a 16yr old girl being chosen in Cyprus. And I take it all back, she wasn't chosen based upon her popularity in Greece. She was more likely chosen because of her lack of popularity in Kent, where she lives.

Lisa - In Her Own Words 
 
I was a Christmas baby, born on the 22nd December 1987. As you may have guessed I’m still at school and studying for my GCSE’s. I really love singing, and my other hobbies include dancing, drama, netball, and I’ve recently started writing my own songs.My singing career began at the age of eleven on karaoke night at a local pub. Since then, I have performed at venues along side artists such as Atomic Kitten, Damage and many others.
Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston and J-Lo are my favourite female artists, with Usher, Craig David being my favourite male ones.  
I draw musical influence from Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, and Aaliyah.  Some of my favourite films include Pretty Woman, Demolition Man, and Batteries Not Included.
I love all Greek food, although I must confess that I like to pig out at McDonald’s from time to time! I adore chocolate, especially Galaxy Ripple, Dairy Milk and Maltesers.  She's a Gillingham fan. 
I like to wear jeans with pink tops She likes to holiday in Cyprus, where her mother hails from.  I enjoy singing so much and it makes me so happy when I get to share my voice with people

The Singer
 
Cyprus have given us little Lisa and her Michelin man pimp. Her voice will make or break this song, and my money's on her voice breaking. Anunciating R's and M's could be a problem, especially with phrases such as Lisa's Barmy Army.

The Past
  
12 points guaranteed from Greece, and apart from that have largely been a mid-table embarrassment. Invariably the island is represented by blokes in unbuttoned white shirts, gold pendants, and a gorilla on their chest. Nuff said.

The Song
 
Minimalist is too fussy a word for this song. It reminds me of Kermit Frog and his unforgettable heart-rending account of his stairs at home. Just out of interest, what was your favourite stair? Mine was the third one up. Pity the poor child who grew up in a bungalow. Anyway, I can't be unfair, and only if for the surprise factor of Cyprus choosing a song this unprepossessing little ditty, I wish Lisa well. I'm not sure about her voice either, especially when her "every"'s come out as everwy's.

Overall

Hopefully a finalist, although her performance in the semi-final is largely dependant on the outcome of the Gills relegation struggle. An away trip to Doncaster next season may see Lisa too depressed to sing with any conviction whatsoever.
